Well the sun was shining, the rain stayed away and the bees behaved themselves.
The photographer who came to take photos of beehives for our picture gallery was a little hesitant at first, but once we got him in his beekeeping suit he said he felt a bit more comfortable.
As can be seen by the photo below, he kept his distance at first, but soon got a bit braver and moved in closer for some nice close-ups.
He says it will take a couple of days to sort through the best ones, touch them up a bit, crop them and optimize them for web use but hopefully we will have the beehive gallery up and running over the weekend.
